Each of us has a unique set of experiences that reflect upon the singularity of us as individuals. I am interested in capturing the visual remnants of those experiences through portraiture. Our faces hold innumerable clues to the people that we are. In many ways, our lives are imprinted on our features. When we stop and take a moment things that are usually overlooked come to the surface, and the face turns into a record of our lives. As an artist, I am interested in capturing that record, and allowing it to be viewed and shared by others.
